The Peoples Campaign

June 1st updates and additions added:
With the election officially in full swing, I would like to discuss some bills I believe I could get passed in the State Assembly and also some measures and/or actions I would like to make:

-Yearly tax audit of every county and city to see if our taxes are going to public services or to the wrong things. We would audit and redirect the money to our streets, healthcare, police/public safety, schools, public transit, housing, veterans assistance, and any other relevant sector that the public pays for through taxes. In Riverside county we pay as much or more in taxes than New Jersey but our quality of life does not match the amount in taxes we pay. We need to make sure our taxes are going to improve our quality of life and public safety.

- No more income tax for retired people. Many retired people cannot live in California due to the income tax being so high. In order to keep retirees here and get some to move back we should pass a bill that stops all income tax on retired people.

-Reshoring of Manufacturing plants here to Riverside county. We would not build anything new but convert the pre-existing warehouses to manufacturing plants. The manufacturing jobs pay much more and have better benefits than the logistic jobs. We would also make sure the bill eliminates much of the red tape that the state has in order for the fourth largest economy in the world California to get the manufacturing hubs back that are going to Texas and Delaware and other states.

-A law banning all state, county, and city department heads, county supervisors, and city managers from becoming consultants after they retire. This is a big conflict of interest and they already get hundreds of thousands of dollars in retirement and should not be allowed to work for the county or cities as consultants after retirement. Also a law banning all currently elected officials including commissioners from being political consultants.

-A law that makes it so that any rezoning or development that a planning commission approves that is then approved by the city council or county or the state as well must be put up to a public vote. It seems that the planning commissions and the city councils and well as the county  in #AD63  do not care about the voice of the people when it comes to their concerns of overdevelopment and rezoning that is done without the knowledge of the residents.

-A law capping all salaries of state, county, and city department leaders, city managers, and county supervisors to match the salaries of state senators or United States senators salaries. Right now some make as much or more as the president of the United States of America.

-A bill that holds Caltrans accountable for the lack of maintenance on the highway/freeway system specifically the 215 highway.

- Making sure veterans have resources and that March Air Base can keep open the commissary and receive more funding for veteran assistance.

-Making it so all public schools in the state must inform parents about any bullying or changes their children are going through and any other similar situations. Also protecting children from abuse or neglect and from the risk of being kicked out to the streets. Also, it would hold schools and teachers accountable for not reporting bullying or trying to stop it.

-A bill that would allow unincorporated areas in California to form town/city councils or a commission/board of residents in order to better serve the under represented areas of California like Lake Matthews and Temescal Valley and other unincorporated parts of Riverside, Corona/Norco, Eastvale, Lake Elsinore, and Menifee. We can preserve the lifestyle in unincorporated areas and give them a civic voice where they decide their futures.

-Having the state give the University of California Riverside more funding so that school academically can expand and also so that we can have a local state of the art hospital and healthcare system that is similar to UCLAs.

-Advocating residents to push their cities to have strong mayor cities and be able to put it up to a public vote so we can have strong full time mayors and full time councilmembers. Right now every city in our district has a city manager system of government with a part time city council and some cities don't even elect a mayor. We need to make sure the peoples voices are heard over the administrative state and buereucrats voices.

-Allocating more funding to schools in our district and fighting to make it easier to become a teacher within the state.

- More state funding allocated to the district to prevent at risk youth and teens from crime and violence. Funding could cover things like community centers for youth and teens and other preventative services.

-More tax incentives for local business and less fees to start a small business. Basically, making it easier to do business in the state and district so companies don't have to go to another state for lower taxes.

-More wildfire mitigation and acc as to fire/home insurance. I will fight to fix this issue!

-Allocating funding to create ebike and drift tracks to keep young adults, teens, and even children off the streets.

-I Will have open office hours and hold many town hall like events and always have an open line of communication available with my constituents to address all their needs and concerns and most of all make sure their voice comes first

- Helping to create a representative government for all.

More to come! Thank you and God bless!
